BTS loses International Group award to Haim at the BRIT Awards

hit headlines as the first Korean group ever to be nominated for the coveted

International Group

honour at the

BRIT Awards

. However, the popular band lost out on the award to Haim. Others nominated in the Best International Group category were - Fontaines DC,

Foo Fighters

and Run the Jewels. Haim is an American pop rock band from

Los Angeles

which features three sisters: Este Haim, Danielle Haim and Alana Haim.

The boy band enjoys massive popularity across the globe and the

BTS Army

continued to praise the group for being nominated in the international category.

Recently, BTS announced through their official Twitter hand that the band is all set to perform their new song ‘

Butter

’ at the upcoming Billboard Music Awards. They had shared, "We can't hold it in any longer! Our debut performance of '#BTS_Butter' will be at this year's @BBMAs!” Interestingly, BTS has bagged four nominations at this year's BBMAs. The popular boy band has been named in - Top Duo/Group, Top Song Sales Artist, Top Selling Song ('Dynamite') and Top Social Artist (Fan Voted) categories.
