Britney Spears reunites with son Jayden, calls his musical talent 'genius'

Britney Spears is celebrating a heartwarming reunion with her son, Jayden James Federline, as the two bonded over music in a series of videos shared on social media. In the clips, the 18-year-old can be seen playing the piano while Spears showers him with praise, calling his musical abilities "genius."


“That was really good! My son just played, Oh my God!” Britney Spears exclaims in one video, visibly moved by Jayden’s performance. She turns the camera to show him wearing a white T-shirt, sunglasses, and a beanie, looking effortlessly cool as he moves around after playing. Expressing her admiration, Spears wrote, "He’s a genius, and I’m in awe of him!!! I can’t believe he’s mine!!!"



Another clip captures Jayden seated at the piano, with Britney Spears walking behind him, marveling at his talent. "That's incredible," she says in awe, adding, "Jesus, that's amazing." The proud mother later captioned the post with an excited "WOW, WOW, WOW!!!"

Jayden, along with his 19-year-old brother Sean Preston, is Spears' son with ex-husband Kevin Federline. While the boys had reportedly been estranged from their mother since early 2022, these latest videos suggest a mended relationship. Jayden, who briefly moved to Hawaii with Federline in 2023, has since returned to Los Angeles.
