The annual BET Awards function which took place on Sunday night was held virtually for the first time in history due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The ceremony which was hosted by Amanda Seales saw biggies like

Lizzo and others bagging the prestigious award.
Despite the organisers opting to go virtual with this year's award ceremony, popular artists like
John Legend, Usher,
Alicia Keys, Lil Wayne and many others entertained the audience with their stunning performances.
But what grabbed everyone's attention was Beyonce's 8-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter winning her first BET Award for the song 'Brown Skin Girl' with her mother.
