International pop singer, entrepreneur and
philanthropist Ananya Birla
seems to be working on some really interesting collaborative projects. Currently based in Los Angeles, the singer -songwriter created headlines for getting featured on the largest American national top 40 pop radio show for her latest single 'Let There Be Love' a week prior to its actual release. With most global artists getting play-listed on American radio channels only after the release of a track; this is quite a feat achieved by Ananya and is definitely a first.
Recently, we were the first to learn from a well-placed source that American rapper
Gerald Earl Gillum
a.k.a.
G-Eazy
and Ananya are in talks with respect to a collaboration on an R&B track written by Ananya while in self-quarantine.
The littlie birdie told us, “The collaboration is still in the preliminary discussion stage and is looking positive. International tastemakers are taking a keen incline towards Ananya and her music. Ananya has been consistently in the studio for over the last six months and has been working towards creating an assorted and experimental soundscape.”
Also, Ananya became the first Indian signee to one of the world’s most reputed music conglomerates,
Maverick
.
‘Let There Be Love’ is the multi-platinum singer-songwriter’s first release of 2020 - following on from last year’s debut EP ‘Fingerprint’ and standalone release ‘Day Goes By’ feat.
