American rock band Aerosmith has denied reports, claiming that they are planning to replace their lead singer Steven Tyler. Rumors about the band thinking of replacing Tyler, 68, were started by his own bandmate, guitarist Brad Whitfordbook.

The band issued a statement to clarify their stand saying they have no plans to brining anyone else at Tyler's place," reported Aceshowbiz.
"Any rumor out there about us looking for another singer is completely untrue.

All five of us were just on the phone together talking about how excited we are to go to South America and Mexico City," guitarist Joe Perry said.
The group is set to embark on their Latin American tour in September. Brad Whitfordbook has apparently been unhappy with Tyler's solo career.
