Speaking to ELLE, A$AP Rocky expressed deep gratitude for his growing family and called fatherhood “heaven.” He said, “Thank you, Lord, that we had a very successful birth. I’m in heaven right now. Life is great. Yo, I wanna just say this to all the girl dads out there: I’m the newest member of the club, you know what I’m saying? Salute me, and welcome me. It’s a brotherhood, and we gotta stick together out here.”


The rapper also revealed that both he and Rihanna had been wishing for a daughter this time. “I hope it’s a girl. I really do. We’re praying for a girl,” he shared during the interview, expressing his excitement about becoming a “girl dad.”

Rocky and Rihanna’s third child, Rocki Irish Mayers, was born on September 13, 2025, making her the couple’s first daughter. The pair previously welcomed their sons—RZA in 2022 and Riot in 2023.
