Tom Holland, will release in December 2020. Based on a popular video game series ‘Uncharted’ — revolving around high-adventure blockbuster films — this movie follows the adventures of treasure-hunter Nathan Drake, who will be portrayed by Tom, and trace his first encounter with the professional rogue Sullivan.
In January, Dan took over the film after filmmaker Shawn Levy officially exited the project. The movie was originally slated to release on June 10, 2016. But on August 5, 2015, its release date was pushed to June 30, 2017. The latest draft of the film’s screenplay has been written by Mark Walker and Jonathan Rosenberg.
Earlier, actor Nathan Fillion was interested in the lead role, and stated, “I think every actor I know desires to have an action hero role — their Indiana Jones. I think this would be a good one for me.” He then went on to play Nathan Drake in the short film ‘Uncharted: Live Action Fan Film’ (2018).
‘Uncharted’ will be releasing along with
Steven Spielberg directorial ‘West Side Story’, which will feature Ansel Elgort and Rachel Zegler. The entertainment company has also announced the release dates ‘Fatherhood’ (April 3, 2020) and ‘Cinderella’ (February 3, 2021).
