Scooter Braun gets death threats for stopping this singer from performing old hits

Big Machine Records

stopped the the singer from performing her old hits at the AMAs 2019. The 29-year-old singer went on to tweet about the incident and told her

fans

to, "please let Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun know how you feel about this". What followed are

death threats

from her fans to the employees of Big Machine Records as well as Scooter's wife

and their children, Jagger Braun (4) and Levi Braun (2).

Scooter took to social media and revealed that his family had received death threats ever since Taylor's tweet. In the statement, he wrote :"However, I came home tonight to find my wife had received a phone call threatening the safety of our children as well as other threats seen above," He added, "Thinking of my wife and children, my team and their families, I have gone through a range of emotions on how to deal with this... am certain there is no situation ever worth jeopardizing anyone's safety."

It has also come to light, from the statement, that Swift has been silent inspite of being notified about the ongoing threats by her lawyer. Scooter ended the statement by stating that he hopes that there is a direct conversation with Taylor, if not, he prays that nobody gets seriously hurt in the process.
