Hollywood celebrities blessed with twins

It's celebration time for any family when a baby is born. But, the celebrations only get bigger when superstar celebrities welcome new additions to their families. Everyone from fans, friends and fellow celebrities often join in, to spread good cheer. Of late, the celebrations in Hollywood only seem to be getting bigger and better with stars welcoming twins. While Beyonce and Jay Z were the latest to welcome their bundles of joy, we take a look at Hollywood stars who were blessed with twins.

George Clooney who married British-Lebanese human rights lawyer Amal Clooney in 2014, welcomed twins, Alexander and Ella on June 6, 2017. The news of them expecting twins was made public by the couple's friend Julie Chen on a talk show. Shortly after this revelation was made, the Oscar winning actor's mother revealed the sexes of her grand children.
These were the first children for both George and Amal. Soon after their birth, reports claimed that the "paranoid" daddy even hired body guards to take care of his infants' security.

Music's first couple Beyonce and Jay Z welcomed also also welcomed twins this year. The proud parents, who have a 5-year old daughter Blue Ivy, welcomed the newest addition to their family on June 14, 2017. The couple kept the news under wraps for nearly a week before Beyonce's father finally confirmed reports with a social media post welcoming his grandchildren. It was, however, only after a month that the singer finally announced the arrival of her children with a photo shoot that she shared on Instagram with the caption, "Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today."
In true Queen Bey style, the star had made her pregnancy announcement in a similar fashion by sharing a picture of her baby bump with the caption, "We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. - The Carters."

American singer Mariah Carey gave birth to fraternal twins on her third wedding anniversary with now ex-husband Nick Cannon. The 'Love Takes Time' singer gave birth to a boy and a girl named Moroccan and Monroe. The couple had kept the news of the twin's arrival under wraps, but the secret slipped when the singer revealed the happy news to the then President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle when they met at a Christmas concert.
Although now divorced, Mariah and Nick continue to co-parent their children and make joint appearances at family outings and public events.

Hollywood actress and singer Jennifer Lopez gave birth to twins - Maximilian David and Emme Maribel, on February 22, 2008, with her then husband Marc Anthony. It was Marc who went on to reveal that the couple were expecting twins, even revealing that it ran in the family. He was quoted saying, "My sister also had twins, so it's a hereditary thing." It was in 2011, that the couple called it quits on their 7-year marriage. The couple have moved on in their love-lives, but continue to maintain a united and amicable front for their children. They are often spotted spending family time together on birthdays and family get togethers.

Oscar winning actress Julia Roberts who is married to cinematographer Daniel Moder welcomed twins, a boy and a girl on November 28, 2004. The couple named their bundles of joy Phinnaeus Walter and Hazel Patricia Moder. The 'Pretty Woman' actress reportedly faced a few problems during her pregnancy and was advised complete bed rest until her delivery. Julia revealed that there a number of twins family which included her great grandmother and cousins.

Actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are parents to six children which includes twins Knox and Vivienne who were born on July 12, 2008, in France. Jolie confirmed her pregnancy at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2008 stating that she was expecting twins. The celebrity couple who have separated now have three adopted children Maddox, Pax Thien, Zahara and one biological daughter Shiloh.
