World Bee Day

, Angelina reportedly wanted to do a portrait covered in bees.

The 45-year-old actress, director, and humanitarian said to National Geography, “With so much, we are worried about around the world and so many people feeling overwhelmed with bad news and the reality of what is collapsing, this is one that we can manage. We can certainly all step in and do our part.”

“I don’t think a lot of people know what damage they’re doing. A lot of people are just trying to get through their day,” she added.

For the striking portrait, the actress revealed that she couldn't shower or use perfume for three days to avoid confusing the bees with many sents. For the shoot, she also revealed that she plugged her nose and ears to make sure the bees didn't climb into it.

While the actress pulled off the stunning shoot, she revealed that it wasn't as easy as it looked. "I did have one that got under my dress the entire time. It was like one of those old comedies," she said.

Signing off, she said, "I felt very honoured and very lucky to have the experience.”

According to an Instagram post, Angelina stood perfectly still, covered in bees for 18 minutes without a sting.
On the work front, Angelina will be seen next in the Marvel superhero movie 'Eternals', based on a race of immortal beings who shaped humanity and society. The film is slated for a late 2021 release.
