Gal Gadot is all set to team up with director
Patty Jenkins for the third instalment of their superhero franchise 'Wonder Woman'. Apart from directing, Jenkins is also reported to be penning the final part of the trilogy.
Warner Bros. shared this statement after the Christmas release of 'Wonder Woman 1984' in theatres as well as a digital platform. While the film did splendidly well at the box office despite the coronavirus pandemic affecting its collection.
Meanwhile, Warner Bros.
also revealed that the third instalment of 'Wonder Woman' will have a theatrical release. According to a Hollywood portal, Warner Bros. chief Toby Emmerich confirmed the third instalment as he said, "As fans around the world continue to embrace Diana Prince, driving the strong opening weekend performance of ‘Wonder Woman 1984,’ we are excited to be able to continue her story with our real life Wonder Women — Gal and Patty — who will return to conclude the long-planned theatrical trilogy."
Meanwhile, apart from Gal Gadot 'Wonder Woman 1984' also starred
Chris Pine, Robin Wright and Connie Nielsen in pivotal roles.
