The official website for the upcoming Wind Breaker anime, adapted from Satoru Nii's manga, treated fans to an exciting revelation on Wednesday with the release of the main promotional video and second key visual. The video not only showcased captivating visuals but also spilled the beans on additional cast members, theme songs, and the much-anticipated premiere date set for April 4.
Taking the spotlight in the opening theme is the talented artist natori, delivering the energetic track "Zettai Reido" (Absolute Zero). On the other end, the closing theme, titled "Muteki" (Unbeatable), is skillfully performed by Young Kee.
Among the fresh faces joining the cast are Kengo Kawanishi as Taiga Tsugeura, Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Mitsuki Kiryu, and Ikumi Hasegawa as Kotoha Tachibana. The ensemble promises to bring an extra layer of depth to the series.
Anime enthusiasts can mark their calendars for the grand premiere on April 4 at 12:26 a.m. JST, effectively airing on April 5. The much-anticipated broadcast will take place on 28 MBS/TBS stations as part of the Super Animeism TURBO block.

The 15th compiled book volume was released on January 9, with the 16th volume scheduled to hit the shelves this Friday. Notably, the manga secured the 9th spot in AnimeJapan's 2022 list of "Manga We Want To See Animated," adding to the excitement surrounding the upcoming anime adaptation.
