James Gunn, the mastermind behind the recent hit ‘Superman,’ managed to give a bit of cinematic crumbs. The 59-year-old revealed that he would be ‘hopefully’ starting with the production of the most anticipated film, ‘The Batman Part II,’ featuring
Robert Pattinson and Zoë Kravitz, before working on the
David Corenswet starrer.

In a recent interview with the I Think You're Overthinking It podcast, Gunn gave an update about ‘Superman,’ citing that he would perhaps do another film before releasing the sequel. “Well, hopefully we're making ‘The Batman 2’ before that,” the CEO of DC said.
Furthermore, the filmmaker provided a stunning glimpse into the future of DC, with multiple projects lined up. “We got ‘The Brave and ‘The Bold’ is still going well, and ‘Wonder Woman, and Paradise Lost’, and ‘Booster [Gold],’” he said, adding that he is looking forward to green-lighting quality films, and emphasizing that he would not unless he feels satisfied with the scripts.

Recently, ‘Superman’ hit the silver screen, making generations fall in love with the Man of Steel all over again, along with a successful box office collection. After directing the first chapter, Gunn revealed that he envisions having four films in the ‘Superman’ saga, unlike the traditional trilogy, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Revealing that the treatment for the next story is completed, he said, “I’m working on that and hopefully going into production on that not too far away from today.”
