Marvel’s latest offering, Guardians Of The Galaxy, introduces a whole new bunch of superheroes, who are touted to be underdogs. Director James Gunn says, “As a lifelong lover of these comics, space epics and raccoons, this is the movie I’ve been waiting to make since I was nine years old.

Caught and sent to prison, Quill forms a shaky alliance with a group of outlaws — gun-toting raccoon Rocket (Bradley Cooper), tree-like humanoid Groot (Vin Diesel), the deadly Gamora (Zoe Saldana) and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista). He must do his best to rally his team for a last, desperate attempt to save the galaxy from the menace of the orb.
