Angelina Jolie feared for her children's safety
In a 2021 interview with The Guardian, Angelina Jolie stated that she feared for her children during the relationship. However, during the conversation, the case between Pitt and Jolie was still ongoing, making it impossible for her to speak on the matter.
When she was promoting her book ‘Know Your Rights,’ a guide for young adults and young people about their rights, the talk extended to her family. “I’m still in my own legal situation, I can’t speak about that,” Jolie said, before reportedly nodding at the question of whether she was indicating the domestic abuse allegations she had made against Pitt in 2017.
When asked if she feared for the safety of her children during the relationship, Angelina said, “Yes, for my family. My whole family,” she said. Describing the situation with Pitt, she emphasised that she is not the one who takes decisions lightly, and claimed that it took a lot for him to separate from the father of her kids.
