Here are some other significant celeb engagement rings.
Kate Middleton - When Kate and Prince William announced their engagement last year, all eyes were on her engagement ring which was the one belonging to Will’s late mother Lady Diana. The huge 18 carat sapphire is surrounded by diamonds all round and is a symbol of classic beauty. No prizes for guessing but cheaper versions the same ring were in the market hours later.
Elizabeth Taylor - Elizabeth may have been known for getting married a number of times, but when she got engaged to Michael Todd, it was an emerald-cut diamond ring that weighed almost 30-carats that stood out.
Jennifer Lopez - Their engagement did not result in marriage, but when JLo got engaged to actor Ben Affleck, she got a 6 and a half carat pink diamond ring with three white diamonds.
