Oscar-winning actor
Matthew McConaughey was in for a beautiful surprise on his 51st birthday. Although a little on edge over the US Election 2020, the actor was pleasantly surprised to wake up to his kids singing the birthday song in a video that was all things adorable.
The actor shared a video montage of his children - Vida, 10, and Livingston, 7- singing the birthday song while making funny faces. He best captioned the clip saying, "a beautiful alarm clock I had today."
McConaughey's wife,
Camila Alves, also posted the same clip to her account and penned a note of love that read, "I know we are all on the election right now but this was a good alarm clock the morning after Election Day celebrating the amazing human that @officiallymcconaughey is!!!!"
"Yes, it is his birthday today! Happy birthday my love!"
She also encouraged followers to keep an eye out for "what my daughter said is how I feel sometimes! And let’s all stay calm and find new ways to unite for our future."
Not featured in the video is the couple’s eldest child Levi, 12.
