The first trailer for 'Murder on the
Orient Express
' was released online and people can’t stop raving about it.
The film is an adaptation of
Agatha Christie
's best-selling novel of the same name, which has been directed by
Kenneth Branagh - who also plays Hercule Poirot, the detective in charge of investigating the murder on the Orient Express train. Joining Branagh is a stellar cast of
Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz,
Judi Dench, Derek Jacobi, Daisy Ridley, Michelle Pfeiffer and
Willem Dafoe.
‘Murder on the Orient Express’ tells the tale of thirteen strangers stranded on a train, where everyone’s a suspect. One man must race against time to solve the puzzle before the murderer strikes again. It was one of many Agatha Christie novels based around Poirot's case-solving. The book was originally adapted for the big screen in 1974 with Sydney Lumet as director and Albert Finney in the detective role. Versions of the tale have appeared on television as well, including a 2010 episode in the long-running Poirot series with the actor David Suchet.
'Murder on the Orient Express' is set to release in UK on November 3 and the US on November 10.
