Waiter admits to using drugs with Liam Payne but denies being a dealer

A waiter named Braian Paiz, who prosecutors want to charge in connection with Liam Payne's tragic death, has admitted to using cocaine with the singer but insists he never sold drugs to him. Paiz shared his account in the upcoming documentary TMZ Investigates: Liam Payne: Who's to Blame?, airing Monday, December 16, at 8 PM ET on FOX.

According to Paiz, he partied with Liam in the singer’s hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He revealed that they drank whiskey together and used cocaine that Paiz brought to the hotel. He stated this happened twice, with the last occasion just two days before Liam’s fatal fall from his hotel balcony.

Paiz recalled seeing drugs scattered across the room, alongside a Dove soap box and tin foil, items that were widely photographed after the incident. Despite this, he denied being a drug dealer and claimed he never accepted money from Liam for the cocaine. He even said he turned down Liam’s offer of a Rolex watch as payment, though he did accept a keepsake gift from the singer, which he described in the documentary.

Prosecutors have named Paiz as one of five individuals they are pursuing charges against in connection with Liam’s death. These charges reportedly include allegations of abandonment and involvement in providing drugs.

The documentary also features interviews with other key individuals, including Roger Nores, a close friend of Liam’s who has been accused of abandoning the singer and supplying him with drugs, and eyewitness Bret Watson, who was present when Liam fell to his death.

Liam Payne’s tragic story has left many questions unanswered, and the documentary seeks to uncover the chain of events that led to his untimely passing. TMZ Investigates: Liam Payne: Who's to Blame? airs Monday on FOX and promises to shed light on the circumstances surrounding the singer’s final days.
