Vanessa Hudgens, who is playing the lead opposite Alex Pettyfer in the modern day remake of the classic fairy tale 'Beauty and the Best', has revealed that she was "freaked out" by her co-star.

The actress says she felt uncomfortable around the actor when he was in his 'Beast' costume, Contactmusic reported.
"It was crazy, I saw the picture of his 'Beast' make-up for like a millisecond and then I was like, 'Oh no, I can't look!' I waited until I got to see him in person and it moved me in a really weird and peculiar way," the 21-year-old beauty said.
The actress, who is dating her 'High School Musical' co-star Zac Efron, is amazed by the realistic make-up of Pettyfer.
Mary-Kate Olsen also stars in the movie, as a transfer student who curses handsome Kyle Kingson - played by Alex - so that he becomes hideously disfigured.
Vanessa plays Linda, the beautiful daughter of a drug addict who is sent to live with Kyle's family.
