Prince William and Kate Middleton recently took to their Twitter account to share an old picture on their 13th wedding anniversary on April 29. ‘The Prince and Princess of Wales’ dropped a monochrome picture from their wedding day and wrote, “13 years ago today!”. They also mentioned the photographer, Millie Pilkington.

Kate disclosed her battle with cancer prior to the 13th wedding anniversary. She took a two-month absence from public engagements to recuperate from significant abdominal surgery. On March 22, the Princess of Wales shared that she has commenced chemotherapy treatment. Given Catherine's health, it has been previously noted that William and Kate will forgo grand celebrations for their anniversary, opting instead for a more intimate and private affair. Many of their fans and well-wishers reacted to the anniversary picture on Twitter. One wrote, “Happy Anniversary love and strength together, Prince William and Princess Catherine of Wales. Sending you all our best wishes”, and another wrote, "Happier times it seems..."

Meanwhile, one of the social media users asked about Kate's health, "Any update on how Kate's treatment is going please, anyone?"




In 2001, Prince William and Kate began their romantic journey while attending St. Andrews University, eventually culminating in their wedding vows exchanged on April 29, 2011, at Westminster Abbey. Together, they are blessed with three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Prior to their marriage, they made a joint appearance in an interview following their engagement in 2010.
