Tom Hiddleston recently found himself in an awkward spot when an interviewer brought up his ex,
Taylor Swift, during a radio appearance. The 44-year-old actor, who was promoting his upcoming film 'The Life of Chuck' alongside co-star
Karen Gillan, appeared visibly uncomfortable as the conversation unexpectedly shifted toward his past relationship with the pop star.

The actor made an appearance on the iHeart Radio alongside his Life of Chuck co-star Karen, where host Devin Griffin mentioned Swift's upcoming 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. The conversation seemed casual in the first part where Hiddleston was discussing how he unwinds at night after a demanding work schedule.
He stated, “I find myself on the sports highlights. It’s football, or if there’s been a tennis championship that I’ve missed. I’ll go on a read of all these sports journalists who write really beautifully about sport.”
Griffin abruptly shifted the topic at that point, saying they had just discovered that Taylor Swift was a huge fan of a sourdough recipe blog. Although it was highly specialised, he said he could see people becoming interested in it. Hiddleston was unprepared for the comment. The 44-year-old briefly froze, tilted his head, stared at the walls for a few seconds, and only managed to mutter a faint "hmm."
There was a reported awkward silence in the room, and it appeared as if he was unsure of how to respond. But Karen Gillan stepped in to save the day. She chuckled and said the remark sounded like one of Taylor's well-known "Easter eggs," which are her covert project hints. "It felt like a little breadcrumb," she said, wondering out loud which city was hosting it and even suggesting that the sourdough might be the city's mascot.
Taylor and Tom had a brief summer romance in 2016. The couple famously showed off their PDA all over the world, kissing while out and about from Rhode Island to Rome. However, by the fall of that year, the couple had called it quits, so their relationship was short-lived. The Taylor Swift song widely believed to be about Hiddleston is "Getaway Car" from her 2017 album Reputation. Fans belive that the lyrics describe a rebound relationship, with Hiddleston serving as the "getaway car" to escape her previous relationship with Calvin Harris. The song even refferences to meeting her love at the Met Gala.
