We’ve seen this in movies and read about it countless books - how folks consider Friday the 13 to be unlucky and how they are wary of it. They avoid starting a new project on this day, travelling on this day and even tying the knot on this day. And yet, there is actually no basis to the fear behind Friday the 13th and some even find it lucky. This year, had two Friday the 13ths, in March and November.

Remember the character, Jason Voorhees?The film series ‘Friday the 13th’ included 12 serial-killer films, novels, books and video games. They revolve around Jason Voorhees, the boy who died at a camp after being bullied and thrown in a lake and is back for revenge. The hockey mask he wears became a recognised symbol with movie buffs. There was also a ‘Freddy vs Jason’ film, which was a crossover between ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ and this series.
