The first trailer of ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ is out and it will definitely make your jaw drop. The third instalment of the 'Thor' series picks up where the second ‘Avengers’ movie ‘Age of Ultron’, left off.
After a set of character posters and digital art revealed a clash between the God of thunder - Thor played by
Chris Hemsworth and the Incredible Hulk played by
Mark Ruffalo, the teaser trailer came with its own bag of surprises.
The teaser trailer begins with Thor finding himself imprisoned in another world bound in chains. It is followed by a presumed fight sequence between the Norse god and Hela - the goddess of Death- played by
Cate Blanchette
. However, neither Thor nor his trusted hammer ‘Mjolnir’ prove to be a match for the Hela as she shatters the hammer and brings terror and destruction to the kingdom of Asgard.
Thor finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of the all-powerful new threat. But first, he must survive a deadly gladiatorial battle against a former "friend from work", the massive Hulk in the intergalactic fight. Thor's adoptive brother and nemesis Loki, played by
Tom Hiddleston is also back with few new additions.
Loaded with adrenaline-pumping action sequences and wonderful acts, the trailer looks amazing with the women dominating the lot with Tessa Thompson as the Asgardian warrior - Valkyrie and Idris Elba as the all-seeing, all-hearing Heimdall.
Directed by Taika Waititi, the film is set to release in November.
