Sony Pictures on Tuesday, unveiled an exciting news trailer that takes fans on a nostalgic trip to their childhood. Whether you are a fan of the comics or the cartoon, the trailer gives the lasagna-loving cat a cute new look and an adorable back story.

Featuring a voice cast of Hollywood star Chris Pratt and Samuel L Jackson, the film drected by Mark Dindal, promises a wild adventure and a snack at every turn.

Sharing the new trailer, Pratt took to his handle to say, "Well this Monday officially doesn’t suck!! Dun dun duuuuuun… the Garfield OFFICIAL trailer is here and it’s better than I could have imagined!! Can’t wait for you all to see the movie… coming soon."



While Pratt voices Garfield, his Marvel co-star Jackson, voices Garfield's scruffy street cat father, Vic. Jim Davis, the creative mind behind the beloved Garfield comic series, assumes the role of executive producer, joined by Bridget McMeel and Craig Sost.
