The femme fatales of 'Mission: Impossible – Fallout' defy danger

Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt is back with his most successful franchise — 'Mission: Impossible'. While Tom redefines daredevilry by jumping off planes and scaling skyscrapers in the series, his femme fatale co-stars are no less in the latest instalment, 'Mission: Impossible – Fallout'.
Reprising her role as the fiery MI6 agent ‘Ilsa Faust’ is Rebecca Ferguson. Her co-star Simon Pegg said, “Ilsa is a match for Ethan, physically and mentally.She isn’t just there to be rescued." Adding oomph is ‘The White Widow’, Alana (Vanessa Kirby). The actress said, “She is an enigmatic character who is the antithesis of all the women Ethan has met so far. She is a temptation, not just physically, but emotionally and psychologically.”
Exuding intelligence, power and credibility is ‘Erika Sloane’ (Angela Bassett). Tom Cruise said, “I love the character that McQ (director Christopher McQuarrie) wrote for her and Angela nails it. When she’s on screen she’s a force of nature.” The film also features Henry Cavill, Ving Rhames, Michelle Monaghan and Alec Baldwin.
