Taylor retired from the music industry after feeling “underappreciated as an artist.” The nomination comes as a way to redefine her art, and the singer is all about accepting the acknowledgement. She revealed that for her, the nomination was not just for her latest album, but for all of the music that she has put out in the past few years, when she started off in the music industry. “That wait is not punishment. — It’s preparation for what's already written for you,” she concluded.
