Teyana Taylor on working with Leonardo DiCaprio: Says, there were no surprises - 'It’s still being funny'

The duo collaborated for Paul Thomas Anderson’s upcoming film ‘One Battle After Another,’ which will be released on September 26. Expressing about the experience, Taylor gave compliments to the Oscar awardee.

During a conversation with E! News, Taylor claimed no surprises were working with him when the host asked about any definitive incidents while working on the film. “There were no real surprises. I mean, it’s still Leonardo DiCaprio. You know what I’m saying?” she said, before adding, “Like, even in him being dead serious, it’s still being funny.”

Meanwhile, Leonardo DiCaprio chronicled the first impression of Teyana Taylor – when they shook hands at Diane Ross’ birthday party. The 50-year-old recalled that he instantly connected with her, appreciating her sense of humor. As he knew she was being considered for the lead, he expected that she would bring the heat – and she indeed did.

The Taylor’s version is different. For what she remembers, the 34-year-old was chewing gum with her resting b-face during Diana’s performance, while the ‘Titanic’ actor was standing behind her. “We kind of sized each other up, and from there we hit it off instantly,” she said, adding that they are now inseparable. Moreover, she also mentioned that she was starstruck when he saw him.
