is pushing the envelope and showing off her acting prowess in the spine-chilling new horror film titled 'Tarot'.

The new trailer that dropped online on Friday, sees tarot cards take centre stage. The movie, set to hit theatres on May 10, explores the dark consequences when a group of teenagers stumbles upon a deck of tarot cards, inadvertently releasing spirits that hunt them down, with each having to deal with the cards fate dealt.

The official synopsis teases the harrowing premise: "When a group of friends recklessly violates the sacred rule of Tarot readings – never use someone else’s deck – they unknowingly unleash an unspeakable evil trapped within the cursed cards. One by one, they come face to face with fate and end up in a race against death to escape the future foretold in their readings."

'Tarot' follows in the footsteps of A24's 2023 horror hit 'Talk to Me', that brought to screens a story of a group of teens who unwittingly discover the ability to communicate with spirits through an embalmed hand found at a party.

The film features a dynamic ensemble cast of fresh new faces, including Avantika, who recently made waves for her role in 'Mean Girls'. She will share screen space with Jacob Batalon of the 'Spider-Man' series, Larsen Thompson, Harriet Slater and Adain Bradley.
