'Tadaima, Okaeri' BL anime's 2nd video spotlights additional cast, ending song

The anime adaptation of Ichi Ichikawa's boys-love manga, Tadaima, Okaeri, introduces new cast members and reveals the ending theme. Premiering on April 8, the series follows the lives of a husband, his spouse, and their son as they navigate the challenges of everyday life.

Stepping into the inviting world of "Tadaima, Okaeri" just got even more exciting as the second promotional video for the anime adaptation of Ichi Ichikawa's beloved boys-love manga graces our screens. Released via the official website, this video not only introduces us to more members of the talented cast but also treats us to a preview of the anime's soul-stirring ending theme, "Tsunagiai" (Connection) by the talented Takayoshi Tanimoto.

Among the fresh faces joining the cast are Shintarō Asanuma, who lends his voice to the character of Aoto Mochizuki, depicted as an adult in the central spotlight of the visual presentation.

Toshiki Masuda takes on the role of Yūto Matsuo, positioned on the right, while Kazuyuki Okitsu portrays Shūto Matsuo, positioned on the left. Completing this ensemble is the delightful Kaede Hondo, who voices Michiru Mochizuki, the adorable baby at the center of attention.
Reprising their roles from the manga's drama CD, we have Atsushi Tamaru as Masaki Fujiyoshi, the endearing stay-at-home husband; Toshiyuki Morikawa as his elite salaryman husband, Hiromu Fujiyoshi; and Atsumi Tanezaki as the charming baby Hikari Fujiyoshi, filling the household with warmth and joy.
Adding depth to the narrative are Taku Yashiro as the affable college student and neighbor, Yūki Hirai; Kōsuke Toriumi as Hiromu's childhood friend, Tomohiro Matsuo; and Konomi Kohara as Hinata Fujiyoshi, the adorable younger sister of Hikari.
Helming this emotional journey is director Shinji Ishihira, renowned for his work on titles like "Sasaki and Miyano," "Super Lovers," and "Fairy Tail," while Yoshiko Nakamura, the creative force behind "Super Lovers" and "Sasaki and Miyano," spearheads the series scripts. Bringing the characters to life with their designs is Mina Ōsawa, who has previously showcased her talent in "School Babysitters," "Given," and "I★CHU: Halfway Through The Idol." Adding musical charm to the proceedings is MADKID with the opening theme "Futatsu no Kotoba" (Two Words).

Set against the backdrop of everyday life, "Tadaima, Okaeri" delves into the lives of Masaki Fujiyoshi, a husband navigating the challenges of being a stay-at-home dad, his dedicated spouse Hiromu, and their young son Hikari. Together, they navigate the highs and lows of life, gradually evolving into a tightly-knit family, where each moment is cherished.
Originally debuting in Fusion Product's THE OMEGAVERSE PROJECT e-book anthology in 2016, the manga has since captured the hearts of readers, with Fusion Product releasing the fourth volume, titled "Tadaima, Okaeri ーHitoyasumiー" (I'm Home, Welcome Back ーBreatherー) in April 2019. Excitingly, Ichikawa has announced a fifth volume is in the works, coinciding with the eagerly anticipated anime adaptation.
