Streep faked assets to bag roles?
Double Oscar-award winning actress Meryl Streep has revealed that she used to pad up her brassiere in a bid to land film roles.
The multiple Oscar nominated icon admitted playing the sexy card to catch the eye of casting directors by boosting her assets to increase her chance of film offers, reports contactmusic.com.
Eventually her fake curves even persuaded late moviemaker Sydney Pollack to cast her in the critically acclaimed "Out of Africa".
"I have cheated to get a part. The first time was on Broadway years ago. Before the audition, I filled my 32 DD bra cups with paper towels. I got the part! I did it again to Sydney Pollack for 'Out of Africa'. I'd heard he didn't think I was sexy enough so I filled them up again," she said.
