Kirsten Dunst opens up about a scary incident
In a recent interview with Town & Country, Dunst opened up about the harrowing experience when she was shooting for the dark comedy, directed by Ruben Östlund, along with starring
Keanu Reeves and
Tobias Menzies. Recalling the time in January, she said that her husband
Jesse Plemons and their two children, Ennis, 7, and James, 4, joined her while they stayed at a rented house.
The shooting took a catastrophic turn when James started experiencing serious health conditions. While the 43-year-old did not provide details about the issue, she claimed that everything is now fine. After the scare, Plemons took the kids and flew back to Los Angeles while she stayed in Hungary.
"It felt like Final Destination"
Expressing her feelings, Kristen stated that she felt deeply unsettled, "It felt like Final Destination, where you are imagining all the things that could go wrong, worst-case scenarios happening to your child. I have never seen that movie, but I know the concept." She added, "That's how it feels to be a mother at times."
When asked whether the scare gave her certainty about being with Plemons, she said that she knew that he was right for her, but the incident definitely brought them closer in a deeper way, adding that the couple would soon be going on a vacation in the Bahamas. Revealing the reason for choosing the tropical getaway, she said James had a request: “I want to go to a beach where my sandcastle won't wash away."
