She reflected on how living away from her home country gave her a new perspective on the importance of family and friends for her well-being. Turner, who shares daughters Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3, with her ex-husband, said she returned with a newfound appreciation for her support system.


The couple reached a settlement in October 2023 after Joe's divorce filing, but Sophie later apologized for their dispute during that time.

In an interview with British Vogue in May 2024, she was unhappy with how everything had turned out, especially with regard to her kids, whom she referred to as the real victims of the situation.
