Shekhar didn't say no to Penelope

Shekhar Kapur has denied reports that he turned down Hollywood actress Penelope Cruz’s offer to direct a film she wanted to produce.
“Why would any director in his right mind say no to Penelope Cruz? I hear the media has been saying that. Not true,” Kapur wrote online. It was reported earlier this year that the Spanish actress, who stars in Kapur’s upcoming film “Paani”, was ready to produce a film if the Kapur agreed to helm it.Meanwhile, Kapur has finished writing the script of “Paani” “The most beautiful words to a writer? THE END. Just wrote those two words on the PAANI script,” he said online
