The first of the new animated
Scooby Doo
movie ‘Scoob!’ is here and it is bound to bring back a flood of happy memories.
The Tony Cervone directorial is a first full-length animated Scooby-Doo adventure film for the big screen, bringing fans a never-before-told story of the Dane’s origins. The film reveals how lifelong friends Scooby and
Shaggy first met and how they joined the young group of detectives - Fred, Velma and Daphne, to form the famous Mystery Inc.
The trailer not only gives us a glimpse of gang’s first big mystery bust but gives us a look at the gang’s biggest, most challenging mystery ever: a plot to unleash the ghost dog Cerberus upon the world. As they race to stop this global “dogpocalypse,” the gang discovers that Scooby has a secret legacy and an epic destiny greater than anyone imagined.
While all the characters stick true to their classic costumes, characteristics and colour schemes, we can’t help but notice a little upgrade in Fred’s wardrobe with him trading in his white collar tee and scarf for a tee and a jacket.
Packed with action, romance, adventure and giggles, this one sure looks like a treat for any 90’s kid. The film's voice cast comprises of Will Forte as Shaggy;
Mark Wahlberg as Blue Falcon;
Jason Isaacs as Dick Dastardly;
Gina Rodriguez as Velma; Zac Efron as Fred and
Amanda Seyfried as Daphne.
