Scarlett Johansson pulled off a surprise on all her fans around the world when it was announced that she tied the knot with her comedian fiancé
Colin Jost last weekend. The actress, best known for her role as Black Widow in the Marvel series ‘Avengers’, wed her man in a private ceremony.
After the news broke, fans of the actress flooded social media sites with congratulatory notes of love and their best wishes. Fans in India also went into a tizzy as they got #ScarlettJohansson trending on the top spots on Twitter.

The news of the wedding was confirmed on Instagram by the charity Meals on Wheels that has been helping the elderly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"We're thrilled to break the news that Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost were married over the weekend in an intimate ceremony with their immediate family and loved ones, following COVID-19 safety precautions as directed by the CDC," read the post.
The actress' representative also confirmed the news of the quiet wedding, over a year after Jost popped the question in May 2019.

, with whom she has a daughter, Rose.
This is the first marriage for Jost.
Speaking up about their wedding plans in July, Jost said that they had to re-assess their plans owing to the pandemic.
On the work front, Scarlett is currently awaiting the release of her standalone superhero film, ‘Black Widow’, which got postponed to May 2021 owing to the pandemic.
