Scarlett Johansson’s ‘

Black Widow

’ film that was scheduled to release on April 30 in India, has now been postponed indefinitely. The long wait for Marvel’s Phase 4 has only grown longer with the current coronavirus pandemic forcing Hollywood to shut down and push back the release of their films. However, it has come to light that a post-credit scene from the superhero film actually leaked online.

According to reports, in true MCU style, ‘Black Widow’ is said to have 2 post-credit scenes one of which like other films, may tease at things to come, and the other will tie up loose ends from ‘Avengers Endgame’.

Considering that ‘Black Widow’ is an origins story and will take place between the events of ‘

Captain America

: Civil War’ and ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, the buzz is that the clip will show Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye visiting

Natasha Romanoff

’s grave in the present-day (2023) with his family. This in a way will sort of appease all Natasha fans who left were fuming after ‘Avengers: Endgame’ for not giving the character her due hero’s sendoff, much like the funeral scene for Iron Man aka Tony Stark.

In the other scene, reports claim that it will reveal that the Task Master and

Yelena Belova

were actually working undercover for

Thunderbolt Ross

and hand over to him a flash drive that has a programme to erase your name from any and all databases around the world. This was the same drive Natasha was apparently after a while on the run as a fugitive Avenger. According to reports and fan theories, this will probably play the launchpad for the future of the MCU.

Directed by Cate Shortland, the film will also see Florence Pugh, Rachel Weisz and David Harbour in lead roles.
