Hollywood actress Sandra Bullock dreaded going to school because she was teased and bullied for wearing out of fashion clothes brought in Germany. The 'Miss Congeniality' actress and her younger sister Gesine frequently accompanied their mother Helga, a German opera singer, during her trips to Europe. The frequent trips meant that Bullock had hardly any idea about the changing fashion trends in her native US and was hence laughed at for her fashion sense, Contactmusic reported.
"I'd come back (to school) from Europe and I looked like a clown compared to the cool way the other students looked and dressed. So I got my ass whooped a little bit. Kids are mean, and the sad thing is that I can still remember the first and last names of every one of those kids who were mean to me," said Bullock. But the 'Speed' actress is proud of the worldly education she got while travelling and said, "I loved the travelling and it made me unafraid at an early age of stepping into different countries and cultures."
