Samira Wiley excited about her Emmy nomination

Samira Wiley recently announced the nominations of the Emmy Awards. And she was visibly excited about it. Reason? The actress and model was also among the nominees announced this year. Talk about the day going her way, right from the word go!
Samira, star of ‘Handmaid's Tale’ star joined Ryan Eggold who stars in ‘The Blacklist’ and another upcoming show, to announce the nominations. The actress reportedly spent the entire day without peeping into her phone, however, she just couldn’t skip one particular message.
She was quoted saying that her wife Lauren Morelli texted in all caps and that is what made her check it out.She said that she was really excited.
Her show has around 20 nominations this year. Of these there are eight awards for just acting. Elisabeth Moss has been nominated for the lead and there are quite a few others who are big in this section. According to reports, Samira is rooting for Elisabeth.
She was quoted saying that she probably was one of Elisabeth’s biggest fans and that she loved her. The actress Samira genuinely belies that Elisabeth deserves this award.
