Sam Esmail to direct 'Bermuda Triangle' movie

'Mr Robot' creator Sam Esmail is set to write and direct a 'Bermuda Triangle' movie for Universal.

Earlier drafts of the untitled project were written by

Miles Millar

and Alfred Gough, and

Juliet Snowden

and Stiles White.

Details of the plot are being kept under wraps.

The mysterious Caribbean area known as the Bermuda Triangle stretches between the Florida Straits, Bermuda and Puerto Rico.

Over the years, several ships and planes have disappeared in the area under mysterious circumstances.
