Ryan Reynolds is sexiest man alive
Ryan Reynolds, the 34-year-old Canadian star of "The Proposal" and other mainstream hits, was named Wednesday as People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive.
Ryan Reynolds, the 34-year-old Canadian star of "The Proposal" and other mainstream hits, was named Wednesday as People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive.
Reynolds, who has been married for two years to actress Scarlett Johansson, accepted the award with humour, telling the gossip magazine that the title "gives my family entree into teasing me for the rest of my life".
His home life would also be drastically affected by his new-found status, Reynolds predicted: "Now it's going to be 'Sexiest man, take out the garbage.'"
Past winners of the accolade include Tom Cruise, Sean Connery, Patrick Swayze, Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Johnny Depp.
