Ryan Gosling in talks to play Marvel superhero; fans speculate potential Nova or Fantastic Four casting

Fresh off the billion-dollar box office success of 'Barbie' with Margot Robbie, buzz is that Ryan Gosling may just be gearing up to step into another money-spinning franchise - the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Rumours are rife that the actor is in discussions with Marvel Studios about stepping into a superhero suit for an upcoming MCU project. Insider reported that Gosling recently had a meeting with Marvel boss Kevin Feige to explore potential roles within the expansive superhero franchise.


Fans have long expressed their desire to see the hunk suit up or even don a cape for a superhero film. Considering Marvel's current slate, the actor is a favourite to play the role of the character Nova. Speculation about his possible casting intensified after reports confirmed that a project on the superhero is currently in the works. The official confirmation on the same came in March 2022, indicating that there were talks to bring the comic book character to screen.

Recent rumours suggest that Gosling might not be limited to a Nova role, as he is also speculated to join the MCU for a part in the upcoming Fantastic Four movie. Although the Fantastic Four reboot is not set to begin production in the near future, ongoing speculations about the cast have fueled anticipation among fans.
