RIP Matthew Perry: ‘Friends’ actor buried alongside Paul Walker, Carrie Fisher

Matthew Perry, renowned for his role as Chandler Bing in 'Friends,' passed away at 54 on October 29. He was discovered drowned in a hot tub at his house in Los Angeles. Perry's funeral was held on November 3, and new information reveals that he was buried alongside Hollywood luminaries Paul Walker and Carrie Fisher.

The funeral, a private event, was attended by close friends and family, including former 'Friends' co-stars Matt LeBlanc, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, and David Schwimmer.

The service took place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in LA, situated opposite Warner Bros Studios where 'Friends' was filmed for a decade. Perry's stepfather joined the 'Friends' cast at the ceremony, and he now rests among iconic Hollywood actors such as Paul Walker of ‘Fast and Furious’ fame and Carrie Fisher of ‘Star Wars’ fame.



Forest Lawn Memorial Park is also the final resting place for a host of celebrated figures including Walt Disney, Willie Garson (Sex And The City), Stan Laurel of Laurel & Hardy, Bette Davis, Debbie Reynolds (Fisher's mother), Lee Van Cleef (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly), and Anne Heche (Psycho).

Matthew Perry passed away on October 28, with a reported cause of demise - an apparent drowning. Law enforcement found no drugs at the scene, and no signs of foul play were observed. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office is awaiting the results of a toxicology report. Perry's family and ‘Friends’ co-stars have issued statements expressing their sorrow and honoring his memory, requesting privacy as they grieve and come to terms with their loss.
