Rachel will not lip-sync.
Rachel Zegler is on a roll these days. After Shazam! Fury of the Gods and West Side Story, the actress is starring as the female lead, Lucy Gray Baird in ' The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes,’ alongside an ensemble cast comprising Tom Blyth, Hunter Schafer, Viola Davis, Peter Dinklage, Burn Gorman and more.
The trailer that was unveiled this week at CinemaCon and a day ago on YouTube has already garnered more than 6.5 million views and caused eager anticipation for the film which is a prequel to The Hunger Games and the fifth instalment in The Hunger Games film series. Rachel is looking promising in the role where her character must confront her worst fears and go through death defying challenges and somehow emerge victorious.

However, another side to the talented Rachel Zegler is that she is also an exceptional singer and is lending her live vocals to the film. In fact, even in the official trailer for the film, she is pictured holding a guitar and singing on stage.
She is not lip-syncing as producer Nina Jacobson has revealed emphatically, “Rachel often would opt not to do playback, and just sing it live. Often, after they would call cut, people would just go bananas clapping!”

The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is set to hit theatres this November.
