R. Madhavan and Fatima Sana Shaikh are set to star in an upcoming romantic comedy produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, the OTT arm of Dharma Productions. This film is said to explore an age-defying love story, marking a fresh collaboration between the two actors.
As per a report in Peeping Moon, the film will be directed by Vivek Soni, who previously collaborated with the production house on the project "Meenakshi Sundareshwar." The screenplay is crafted by Radhika Anand and Jehan Handa, with filming expected to commence by the end of October 2024. This project is generating buzz as it features an unconventional romantic narrative involving an older man and a younger woman, which is anticipated to add a quirky twist to the genre.

This film represents a significant return for Madhavan to romantic roles, which fans may find nostalgic, especially considering his past performance in ‘Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein.’ His recent roles have diverged from romance; for instance, he portrayed a black magician in ‘Shaitaan’ directed by Vikas Bahl.
