Pat Finn cause of death confirmed: Actor loses battle to cancer after three years
Pat Finn, best known for his role in the hit American sitcom ‘The Middle’, passed away on December 22 last year. While a crowdfunding page had stated that the actor was battling bladder cancer, there had been no confirmation about the cause of the actor’s untimely demise.
The official crowdfunding page set up for his family reads, “As many of you know, Pat Finn, awesome friend, brother, son, and father, passed away on December 22nd. This devastating loss has been a gut-punch for all of us, but especially so for the Finn family, cherished friends of so many of us. They remain in a truly tough spot. Pat battled cancer on and off for the better part of three years. Throughout the grueling and painful process that was Pat's fight against this insidious disease, the family has been a rock of support for each other.”
His rise to fame came in 1995, when he starred in one of the lead roles in the sitcom ‘The George Wendt Show.’ Some of his other notable works included ‘Murphy Brown’, ‘Friends’, ‘Seinfeld’, ‘2 Broke Girls’, and many others.
He also appeared in films such as ‘Dude, Where's My Car?’ and ‘I Love You, Beth Cooper’, establishing his name in the film industry as well.
Beyond acting, the star also delved into academics and formerly taught improv for strategic communications at both Marquette and the University of Colorado.

In a report published by TMZ, it has been confirmed that the comedy actor passed away due to complications from his bladder cancer. He entered the industry around the same time as Chris Farley, with whom he was best friends.
