Orlando Bloom’s Indian souvenir

Orlando Bloom ended his India trip in Mumbai over the weekend, meeting some Bollywood stars and shopping for something desi for his wardrobe.

His producer friend Sheetal Talwar hosted a lunch for the actor at his Colaba residence. Designer Narendra Kumar also joined the two, as Orlando was keen to take back some kurta shirts as evening wear. “He also chose a Nehru jacket, as that is what he has seen Sheetal wearing, and wanted the same for himself.I was completely surprised when I got a call, and for me, meeting Orlando was the best New Year gift I could get.

We chatted about his India trip – he mostly travelled in the north of India and went to Ranthambore National Park to see the tigers there. We met on Saturday afternoon, and his schedule was packed as he was supposed to meet some people from Bollywood in the evening. We could catch up only for a few hours, but that was also such a big deal for me. He ordered some bundis,” says Narendra.
