Obama roasts celebs, Trump, & drops the mic at his last White House Correspondents’ Dinner

will never be this cool again,” was the reaction after President Barack Obama’s hilarious Correspondent’s Dinner speech on Saturday night, which was also meant to be his last. In his 33 minute-long speech, Obama didn’t hold back from firing barbs at celebs and tearing apart GOP candidates, making the audience almost split their sides with laughter. When the tone of his speech suddenly turned serious, he quickly said, “Nah, I’m just kidding. You know I’ve got to talk about Trump. We weren’t just going to stop there.”

About Donald Trump’s absence from the dinner, he said he didn’t understand why Trump would say no to being in “a room full of reporters, celebs and cameras.” To the few who escaped Obama’s barbs, he said, “Some candidates aren’t polling high enough to qualify for their own joke tonight.” He signed off with just two words, “Obama out,” and then dropped the mic.
