Mission: Yozakura Family anime reveals Ikimono-gakari's opening song in new PV trailer

The second promotional video for the Mission: Yozakura Family anime, based on Hitsuji Gondaira's manga Yozakura-san Chi no Daisakusen, was unveiled on Sunday through the official Twitter account. The video introduces Ikimono-gakari's opening theme song "Unmei-chan" (Fate) and serves as a precursor to the show's premiere on April 7, airing at 5:00 p.m.(4:00 a.m. EDT) on MBS, TBS, and their 26 affiliated channels. The series will also be available for streaming on Prime Video and Netflix.

The cast includes Kaede Hondo as Mutsumi Yozakura, Reiji Kawashima as Taiyō Asano, Akari Kitō as Futaba Yozakura, Katsuyuki Konishi as Kyōichirō Yozakura, Aoi Yūki as Shion Yozakura, Kazuyuki Okitsu as Shinzō Yozakura, Yumi Uchiyama as Nanao Yozakura, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Kengo Yozakura and Goliath.
Mirai Minato, the accomplished director behind notable works like Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya and Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World, takes the helm of the Mission: Yozakura Family anime. At SILVER LINK, Minato not only directs the series but also plays a crucial role in overseeing the intricacies of the script. Adding visual flair to the characters is Mizuki Takahashi, known for contributing to Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation. Serving as the chief animation director, Takahashi ensures that the characters in Mission: Yozakura Family come to life with expressive and engaging animations. The music composition, a vital element of any anime, is skillfully handled by Kōji Fujimoto, recognized for his work on Ragna Crimson and Tearmoon Empire, alongside Osamu Sasaki, who has previously worked on The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! and Ragna Crimson. The series features the ending theme song "fam!" performed by CHiCO.
Gondaira's manga made its debut in Weekly Shonen Jump in August 2019 and has been simultaneously published in English by Viz Media since then. Viz Media began releasing compiled volumes digitally in December 2020 and physically starting from October 2022. Shueisha's MANGA Plus service also digitally releases the manga in English and describes the story as follows:
