​Top Gun: Maverick'​


Joseph Kosinski's 'Top Gun: Maverick' is a sequel to the 1986 film 'Top Gun'. It is based on the characters of the original film created by Jim Cash and Jack Epps Jr. It also stars Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Glen Powell, Monica Barbaro, Lewis Pullman, Ed Harris, and Val Kilmer, who reprises his role as Iceman.

After being a renowned fighter pilot for over three decades, Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell (played by Tom Cruise) is compelled to return to Top Gun, an elite Navy training program. This time, he takes on the role of an instructor, tasked with training a new generation of top pilots, including Lt. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), also known as Rooster, who happens to be the son of Maverick's late friend Goose.

​'Knight And Day'​


'Knight and Day' blends action, comedy, and romance, anchored by the onscreen chemistry between Cruise and his co-star Cameron Diaz. It was the second on-screen collaboration between Cruise and Diaz after 'Vanilla Sky'. The film traces the story of June Havens (played by Diaz), a vintage car restorer who inadvertently becomes entangled with the quirky secret agent Roy Miller (portrayed by Cruise) as he evades pursuit by the CIA.

The film was also remade in Bollywood as 'Bang Bang!' and was released on October 2, 2014, with Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.

Edward Zwick's American action-thriller 'Jack Reacher: Never Go Back' was based on the 2013 novel 'Never Go Back' by Lee Child. A sequel to the 2012 film Jack Reacher, the film stars Tom Cruise and Cobie Smulders in lead roles. The storyline revolves around Reacher going on the run with an Army major falsely accused of espionage, and together they uncover a sinister conspiracy.

It also starred Patrick Heusinger, Aldis Hodge, Danika Yarosh, Holt McCallany, and Robert Knepper in pivotal roles.
